Higher quality, finer rugs are sold under the names of their own towns and villages, such as Hosseinabad, Toyserkan, Nahaband, Malayer, Engilas, Lilian, and Zanjan, while simpler ones are commonly sold under the name Hamadan. 
Due to the diverse ethnic groups and many villages in Hamadan province, there are many different types of Rugs.
